Please be aware of a recent increase in burglaries targeting sheds in our local area. Opportunistic thieves are looking for easy targets, focusing on high-value tools, bicycles, and outdoor equipment.

We strongly encourage all residents to review and improve their property security.

Immediate Action Steps:

Lock up: Secure shed doors with a heavy-duty padlock.

Anchor items: Chain larger items, such as bicycles, together inside the shed.

Block visibility: Cover shed windows so valuables cannot be seen from outside.

Light up: Install motion-sensor security lights around sheds and other outbuildings.

Secure boundaries: Repair any damaged fences, gates or boundary panels.

Report suspicious activity: If you see anything unusual or suspicious contact the police immediately.
